TAutism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of people with autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

American Medical Association – The American Medical Association (AMA) is a professional group that publishes research to advance public health and advocates for the interests of registered physician-members.

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid – The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, previously known as the Health Care Financing Administration, is a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services that administers the Medicare program and works in partnership with state governments to administer Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and health insurance portability standards.

National Institute of Mental Health – The National Institute of Mental Health is one of 27 institutes and centers that make up the National Institutes of Health. The NIH, in turn, is an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services and is the primary agency of the United States government responsible for biomedical and health-related research.
